Each year on the dawn of Ammavaasa in the month Kartik the
glittering diyas ,the dazzling decorations, announces the arrival of
the most vibrant festival of India-Diwali. The word Diwali has its
origin in the Sanskrit word "Deepavali" which means "rows of
light". This 5 day long Hindu festival is celebrated throughout the
world with great zeal and fanaticism .Diwali is the
festival signifying the victory of good against evil.

Relationships are the essence of any festivity and it holds true for
any Indian festival. Each occasion brings the family together which
calls for a celebration. Raksha Bandhan is a celebration of one
such relation - that of a brother and a sister. This relationship is no
